Profile

Your profile holds the identity information FORJ uses for sign-in and notifications: your display name, your account email, and your avatar.

Opening Your Profile​

  1. Click your avatar at the bottom of the sidebar to open the user menu.
  2. Select Profile. The Account modal opens with the Profile tab selected.

Fields​

  • Name — your display name across FORJ. Editable.
  • Email — the address used for magic-link sign-in and email alert delivery. Read-only on this screen.
  • Avatar — a square image shown in the sidebar and across the app. Editable.

Updating Your Avatar​

You can supply an avatar in two ways:

  • Upload an image. Click the avatar tile or the Upload button, or drag an image file onto the tile. Accepted formats: JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP. Maximum size: 512 KB. FORJ center-crops and resizes the image to 256×256 before saving.
  • Paste an avatar URL. Use the Avatar URL field below the Name field. The URL must point to a publicly accessible image. While an uploaded image is in use, this field is disabled — remove the uploaded image first to switch to a URL.

To clear your current avatar, click Remove next to the avatar tile.

Saving Changes​

Click Save Changes to persist edits to your name and avatar. The new values appear immediately in the sidebar and in any FORJ surface that references your profile. Your email cannot be changed from this screen.
